Friday afternoon I noticed a mango on my managers desk and asked him if he was going to eat it, and if I could have the mango seed. I explained that I wanted to plant the mango seed and try to grow it at home. Below I are pictures documenting how I opened and seed, which has a smaller seed inside, and how to plant it. I am skeptical about whether it will grow in the Pacific Northwest, but it will be fun to try. I also included a video to document the process. I encourage everyone to try this out and share their results.

| Once opened detach the inner seed, you don't need to be gentle. |

| Fill up a pot with soil about 75% |

| Place the seed in the soil. |

| Cover the seed with the remainder of the soil. |
